Tralee Parnells Hurling and Camogie notes

U13 Camogie
Our young girls had a fantastic morning of Camogie last Saturday playing in the U13 Aoibheann Duffy Memorial Blitz in Kilmoyley. Our numbers were limited and these players dug deep and played hard challenging each opposition. The level of persistence and effort was unwavering with some fantastic passages of play and amazing defence. This group were awesome and we are beyond proud of how they played. Massive thanks to the moms and dads on the sideline to Cillard Camogie Club for hosting another memorable day remembering Aoibheann, to  Nuala and her family.

U12 Hurling
Well done to all our u12 boys who participated in the St Brendans' U-12 blitz in the ARC in Ardfert this morning. Having 2 teams participating meant everyone got loads of hurling with our white team earning good group wins over Lixnaw and St. Brendans before loosing the plate final to the Ballyduff.

Our Blue team hit the ground early on with group wins over Kilmoley, Na Piarsaigh, Ballyheigue, Patrickswell & Abbeydorney qualifying for the cup final. However like their U-11 colleagues they fell short to a brilliant Abbeydorney side in the final.
This marks the end of the U12 season and as coaches we couldn't be prouder of how they performed today and the attitude and behavior all year long. A thank you to all the parents who have brought the kids to various parts of Kerry and beyond for training and games over the past 2 years.
Finally a big thank you to Stephen and St.Brendans club for organizing an excellently run and enjoyable mornings hurling.
