Kerry Senior Hurlers
Well done to the Kerry Senior Hurlers who continued their winning streak in the Christy Ring Cup, securing a hard-fought victory over a gallant Donegal side in Tralee last Sunday.
A special mention to our own club players, Diarmuid Quirke and Cillian Litchfield, who were included on the matchday panel.
Next up for the team is an away fixture against Roscommon this Saturday at 1:00pm. Best of luck to all involved.
Senior Hurlers
Our Senior Hurlers were defeated in Round 6 of the County League on Friday evening last by a strong Lixnaw side in Caherslee. Just two points separated the teams at half-time; however, Lixnaw moved up a gear in the second half to pull away.
Final score: Lixnaw 0-22, Parnells 0-11

Under 14 Boys
Well done to our U14 boys who began their County Championship campaign with a win over Ballyheigue in testing conditions this evening.
Thanks to Ballyheigue for a fair and sporting game, and to Liam Goggin for refereeing.
A special shout-out to Oran Maguire and Ronan O’Connor, who came out to support their teammates while sidelined through injury. We wish them both a speedy recovery.
Tralee Parnells Academy
There was an excellent turnout at Caherslee GAA Grounds on Friday evening for our U6 and U8 academy sessions.
It was great to see a mix of familiar and new faces, with several young camogie and hurling players trying the sport for the first time this season. We are delighted to welcome these new members and their families to Tralee Parnells.
Our coaches and volunteer helpers organised a fantastic variety of drills and fun activities, followed by small-sided games. The tug of war proved a highlight for many!
Academy sessions continue every Friday at 6:00pm in Caherslee GAA Grounds.
New boys and girls are always welcome (born between 2016 and 2022).
U8 Camogie Training
U8 camogie training takes place on Tuesday evenings in Caherslee from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for girls born in 2018 and 2019.
Players are also welcome to join the boys’ training sessions on Fridays.
Executive
At the April Executive meeting, we were pleased to confirm that Shauna Harris and Saoirse Maloney have volunteered as joint Adult Camogie Player Representatives on the Club Executive for 2026. Two excellent ambassadors for our Junior Camogie team.
Condolences
The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Hannifin family on the passing of Philip’s mother, Kathleen Hanafin.
We also extend our sympathies to Colm O’Brien on the passing of his father, Brendan O’Brien.
May they both rest in peace.
