Underage hurling resumes
Our underage hurling and camogie is back for 2026. There will be training for boys and girls every Friday during February and March on the astro pitch in CBS the green beginning on this Friday the 6th of February. The costs which cover both months is as follows : €20 for one child, €10 for the second child and no charge for a third or more children. U6/8s training will take place from 5pm to 6pm while u10 training will take place from 6pm to 7pm. All are welcome to come along and try it out, no experience necessary. Hurleys and helmets can be provided at the venue.
Volunteer of the year
Congratulations to our own David Brick who received his volunteer of the year award for 2025 at the National Camogie Media, Volunteer and Referee Awards in Croke Park on Saturday last. A well deserved award!
Kerry u16 camogie
Hard luck to the Kerry u16 camogie team that lost out to a strong Tipperary side in the Munster u16 B shield semi final on Sunday afternoon. Parnells representatives on the day included : Sophie Brick (joint captain), Clodagh Culloty, Maria o Connell, Ciara Trant, Aoibheann Hennessy, Caoimhe Shanahan, Kaela Reidy and Manager David Brick.
CBS The green, Munster champions
Massive congratulations to The Green's senior hurlers on winning the u19 B Munster championship on Friday last in Banteer against Bishopstown. A fantastic achievement for everyone involved. Special congrats to the Parnells players involved in this huge success: Cian Harris, Luke Hanafin, Eoghan Costello and Christian Kennedy as well as Colm o Brien, Morgan Madden and Mark Ryall that were involved in the management.
