Tralee Parnells Hurling and Camogie Club weekly notes

Minor Hurling Champions
Our minor hurlers etched their name into club history with a commanding performance in the County Minor Championship final at Austin Stack Park on Sunday, securing the Club's first-ever Minor title against Crotta O'Neills in a thrilling showdown. Parnells burst out of the blocks with intent, dominating possession and converting pressure into scores. Their sharp attacking play and solid defense set the tone early, goals from Ryan Sheehy and Eoin Costelloe gave them a comfortable lead at the break. Half-Time: Score Tralee Parnells 2-09 Crotta 0-05. Crotta rallied in the second half, with a series of unanswered points and finding the back of the net at one point, but Parnells maintained composure and pushed ahead with some sharp point-taking. The victory was sealed by a disciplined second-half display from Parnells. Full-Time Score Tralee Parnells 2-18 Crotta 1-10. Joint Captains Dan Moloney and Jack Shanahan accepted the Seán Lovett Cup from Kerry GAA Vice-Chairman Liam Lynch while Dan Moloney received that Man of the Match award. This was a fantastic all round team performance from solid defensive work ensuring that Crotta struggled to score through to solid delivery of ball to the forwards who converted the scores. A landmark day for Tralee Parnells, marking a major milestone in the club’s journey. Many congratulations to the team and to Brian Shanahan and his management team
