Academy Training
The club Academy training for U6s to U12s continues every Friday evening with U6s, U8s and U10s from 6 to 7pm at Caherslee (V92X025). Those who have not tried hurling before are always very welcome to come along and give it a go. Hurleys and helmets will be supplied by the club for the first few weeks.
U10 Hurling
Our U10s had a great game of hurling in Ballyduff on Wednesday evening. Our boys played with great fight and with lots of skills on display . The management team of David, Gary, Peter and Owen were well impressed . Thank you to all the parents for their commitment. Keep up the good work and continue practicing at home boys.
Minor Camogie
The minor ladies had a great win over Cillard/Abbeykillix in the County league on Wednesday evening. It was a fantastic team performance with suburb link play resulting in a high scoring game, well done to all the players. The girls are now through to the county Championship Final for the first time. Well done to the players and management.
Minor Hurling
Our minor hurlers have reached the final of the County Championship for the first time ever after defeating Kenmare/Kilgarvan during the week. The boys now face familiar foes Crotta in a repeat of the league final. The game is set for this Sunday 3rd August in Austin Stack Park 1pm. We'll done to all players and coaches and best of luck in the final.
U14 Camogie
There was a great battle between Tralee Parnells and Killarney in the U14 County League semifinal also on Wednesday evening. With brilliant skill on display from both sides it was a great match with Parnells coming away winners in the end. They will now meet Causeway in the final next Monday night. The match will take place at Crotta GAA with Throw-in at 8pm. Best of luck girls.
