U10 Hurling
The U10s had a great match against a strong Lixnaw team during the week. There was a great improvement in performance, well done boys. Thank you to all the parents and coaches for their commitment. Keep up the good work. Training continues every Friday at 5.45.
Féile na Gaeil
Final preparations are under way as our U15 Camogie squad look forward to taking part in the Division 3 National Camogie Feile next weekend at Sat Patrick's Ballyoughter GAA Co Wexford. Parnells will meet Four Roads (Roscommon), Burren Rangers (Carlow) and St Patrick’s Cullyhanna (Armagh), Abbeyside (Waterford), Na Fianna (Meath) and Bredagh (Down). Poc Fada
Congratulations to Parnells goalkeeper Diarmuid Quirke who won the Kerry Poc Fada competition last Monday evening in a wet and windy Cúl Trá in Banna Beach. Diarmuid represented Kerry in the Munster Poc Fada in the Galtee Mountains at the weekend
Next Generation Meet the Current Generation
It was training with a difference on Thursday night as our u-12 hurlers got to meet the Senior players who took time out to talk, get to know and train together with the boys. There was also time for a game which the boys just about shaded! This was a great opportunity for the young lads. The coaches and players would like to thank Diarmuid Brennan and the senior team for taking the time to organise the evening.
Senior Hurling
The Kerry Senior Hurling championship got under way at the weekend. The first match for Parnells takes place this coming Friday 20th against Causeway. The venue and time are not known yet but keep watching our social media pages during the week for details. Kerry Camogie
Well done to club players Ciara, Maria, Clodagh, Adrianna and Kaela who played with Kerry at the weekend in the Munster U14 Development Blitz held in Rathkeale. Well done to all the players and management.
