Tralee CBS are into the Hogan Cup final.
In the last four they won against St.Gerald’s, Castlebar by 4-11 to 1-15 at TUS Midwest in Limerick.
It was 2 points all after 9 minutes. A 15th minute goal had Tralee CBS in front by 1-2 to 0-3. However, they fell behind when Gerald's goaled themselves 5 minutes later. Tralee CBS led 1-5 to 1-4 at half time.
It was 1-6 apiece five minutes into the second period. Tralee CBS then fell 4 points behind. They were level when a mazy run from Gearoid White, which resulted in a goal by the same player, was followed by a point. That made it 2-7 to 1-10. A second goal in two minutes, this one scored by Nick Lacey, put Tralee CBS in front at 3-7 to 1-10 ten minutes into the half.
The Munster champions led 3-8 to 1-12 going into the final quarter. The gap was halved in the 49th minute and the sides were all square with 9 minutes to go; 3-8 to 1-14. A Mairtin McKivergan effort from just outside the arc sent Tralee CBS two points clear with a superb effort 2 minutes from time. That advantage was halved into 3 added on minutes but was quickly restored by Nick Lacey. A goal at the end was the icing on the cake for Tralee CBS.

In the other semi-final Colaiste Mhuire, Mullingar beat Abbey CBS, Newry 1-12 to 3-12 AET.
The final takes place in Croke Park on St.Patrick's Day.
