Tipperary manager Colm Bonnar says it will be very difficult for Seamus Callanan to play in this year’s Munster Hurling Championship.
The former Hurler of the Year confirmed last month he’d miss the games with Waterford and Clare due to a hand injury.
But Bonnar’s revealed that Callanan has suffered an infection in the hand which is likely to rule him out of their remaining games with Limerick and Cork.

Limerick have concerns of their own ahead of their opening Championship game with Cork.
Kyle Hayes and Seamus Flaganan are major doubts with respective hamstring and hand injuries.
While Cian Lynch, Aaron Gillane and William O’Donoghue are all carrying knocks.
