Merseyside Police have confirmed they're in discussions with Everton over alleged threats towards club directors ahead of their Premier League defeat to Southampton on Saturday.
Security advisers told board members to stay away from Goodison Park at the weekend because of safety concerns.
No offences have yet been reported.

The police say they're also aware of videos in circulation of fans approaching players’ cars after the game.
