Irish swimmer Shane Ryan admits he's signed up for the Enhanced Games, because the offer was too good to turn down.
The three-time Olympian will compete at the event in Las Vegas next year, where athletes are permitted to use performance enhancing drugs under medical supervision.
Sport Ireland say they're 'deeply disappointed' that European and World medallist Ryan has opted to join the Enhanced Games.
But the 31-year-old says he had to prioritise his financial future rather than remaining part of the Irish team for the Los Angeles Olympics.
