Played in Beaufort Sneem/Derrynane proved a bridge too far for a game Clounmacon side. Leading throughout and at half time 2-10 to 0-2 there was never going to be shock result as the South Kerry men won as they pleased. Denis O Sullivan, Kevin O Sullivan and Eric Burns got in for the goals, with Conor O Brien, Conor McGillicuddy, Dion Burke and Ciarain O Sullivan, along with the goalscorers, also kicked some lovely points. For Clounmacon, who battled hard, their scores came from Joey Keane 1-1, Brian Greaney, 3pts and Chris Lyons, 1pt.
