Spurs Win On Return To Champions League

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank says they're building a solid foundation after marking his Champions League debut with a 1-nil win against Villarreal.

The match was decided by an own goal from opposition goalkeeper Luiz Junior.

While Spurs were good at the back, they managed just one shot on target.

But Frank's not concerned.

Arsenal were 2-nil winners away to another Spanish side, Athletic Club.

Substitutes Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard came off the bench to get the goals.
