Sport Ireland has immediately stripped the Irish Athletic Boxing Association of 15 per cent of its core funding.
They’ve expressed their disappointment at the IABA’s rejection of governance reforms at their EGM.
Just 25 delegates voted in favour, with 80 against.

Sport Ireland say further financial sanctions will be imposed until governance reforms are satisfactorily made.
