American golfer Jordan Spieth has been elected to replace Rory McIlroy on the PGA Tour's policy board.
The Northern Irishman's resignation as a player director came as a shock last week - with McIlroy saying he stepped down due to "professional and personal commitments".
Spieth has previously served on the board and links up with a group that includes Tiger Woods and Patrick Cantlay.
