Southern Gaels were defeated in the AIB Ladies Munster Senior Club Football Championship final.
In Mallow they lost to Waterford's Comeragh Rangers, who prevailed by 1-12 to 0-11.
Comeragh had the first two points, before 2 Rachel Dwyer frees brought Southern Gaels made it all square by the 5 minute mark. 2 quick points had Comeragh ahead by 2 once more. After quarter of an hour Southern Gaels were behind by double scores at 6 points to 3.

Comargh's first point of the second half, with 5 minutes to go, put them 4 in front. Rachel Dwyer brought that deficit down to 3 a minute later.
