Next year’s Six Nations will kick-off on a Thursday night for the first time in the competition’s history.
Ireland will travel to defending champions France on the 5th of February. Kick-off is at 8.10, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
The match has been brought forward to avoid a clash with the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Milan the following day.
Ireland’s second game is at home to Italy on Saturday, the 14th February and the 2023 and 2024 winners will be away to England in round three on the 21st.
Ireland finish with home games against Wales and Scotland in March.
The tournament will also take place across just six weeks after organisers removed one of the rest breaks from the championship.
