Shelbourne will face Romanian side FCSB or Macedonian outfit KF Shkendija should they progress to the Champions League third qualifying round.
The draw was made this morning, ahead of Joey O'Brien's side's second round tie against Qarabag.
The first leg takes place at Tolka Park on Wednesday before the return leg in Baku next week.
