Shelbourne say manager Damien Duff has left his position.
In a statement, the defending Premier Division champions say the former Republic of Ireland international "informed the club this morning that, after much thought, he has made the decision to resign."
Last season, the ex Chelsea man lead the club to the title for the first time since 2006.
Shels say Duff's impact on the club was "transformational" and he will always be one of their own.
Assistant coach Joey O’Brien and the coaching staff will take charge for tomorrow’s trip to the RSC to face Waterford in the Premier Division.
