Henry Shefflin will take charge of the Kilkenny senior hurlers for 2027.
The county board last night confirmed the appointment of the 10-time All-Ireland winner, but haven't revealed the length of his deal.
Shefflin succeeds Derek Lyng, who stepped down after the Cats failed to make it out of this season's Leinster Championship.
