British & Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell has named Dan Sheehan as captain for Saturday’s match against the Western Force in Perth.
The Irish hooker is one of five players making their Lions debut, joined by Garry Ringrose, James Lowe, Joe McCarthy and Josh van der Flier.
Tadhg Furlong returns at tight-head prop and Tadhg Beirne switches to blindside flanker as one of only two players retained from the starting team that faced Argentina.

Farrell praised Sheehan’s leadership qualities ahead of the 11am Irish time kickoff.
