Shane Lowry will hope to be among Luke Donald's six captain's picks when he names his selection for the European Ryder Cup team this afternoon.
Six players - including Rory McIlroy - have automatically qualified, with six more players set to receive a pick.
Lowry narrowly missed out on automatic qualification having finished in seventh place.

Donald will reveal his picks at 2pm today ahead of their meeting with the United States at Bethpage Black later this month.
