The 2025 Callaway Pro Am @ Stud Race of Champions, kindly sponsored by Denis Murphy and family, took centre stage at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium last night with the €15,000 prize going
to Seven Beach trained by Jennifer O'Donnell for the Beach-Boys-Trio Syndicate.
Out of a star studded set of finalists Seven Beach exploded from traps, flew to the bend and in a superb performance set a brand new track record of 29.09 breaking his own record set just last week, with the Brosna owned Callaway Knegare finishing strongly 4 lengths behind to take second.
In a night of track records, Magical Luka for Tipperary owner Pat Guilfoyle also did the clock, this time for the 500 yard distance setting a new track record of a stunning 28.64 in the Moorstown Kennels A3 500 sweepstake. Unbeaten in just 5 career start he is certainly one to watch!
