Security is set to be a major talking point ahead of this year�s Amgen Irish Open in Doonbeg, with the possible attendance of US President Donald Trump at his Clare resort.
Representatives from the venue say the President is �earmarked� to visit during tournament week in September, although nothing is confirmed.
Organisers are reportedly already working with local authorities on what any security arrangements might involve.
