Scheffler wins PGA Championship title

Scottie Scheffler claimed his first PGA Championship title at Quail Hollow overnight.

The American signed for a final round of level-par 71, securing a five-shot victory at 11-under-par - and his third major title.

Rory McIlroy ended the weekend with a final-round 72 to leave him on 3 over par.

Tom McKibbin shot a final-round 73 to end on four over.
