Rory McIlroy makes cut

Rory McIlroy has made it to the weekend at the PGA Championship - but only just.

The Masters champion carded a second-round 69 yesterday at Quail Hollow, to sit on one-over-par, on the cut line.

Jhonattan Vegas is the leader on eight-under, ahead of today's third round.

Tom McKibbin sets off from one-under this afternoon,

But Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington and Seamus Power all failed to make the cut.
