Rory McIlroy has asked for the officials to show some 'common sense' after his group were put on the clock during the first round of the Irish Open golf.
The world number two, Thriston Lawrence and Kristoffer Reitan were warned for slow play on both the front and back nines at the K Club yesterday.
2016 winner McIlroy eventually signed for a one-under-par 71, but he says he felt rushed during the round:
Shane Lowry goes into day two from three-under-par, three shots behind joint leaders Nacho Elvira, Thorbjorn Olesen and Romain Langasque.
