Ronnie O'Sullivan is the oldest winner of the UK Championship - 30 years after he claimed his first title at the tournament aged 17.
The world number one, who turns 48 tomorrow, was victorious by 10-frames-to 7 against China's Ding Junhui in the final in York.
O'Sullivan has now won the event for a record-extending eighth time.
