Manchester United have announced that Cristiano Ronaldo has left the club with immediate effect.
The Portugal star strongly criticised the owners, management, and some of his Old Trafford team-mates during a controversial interview.
United - who said they were exploring legal action following Ronaldo's comments - have thanked him for his contribution across two spells, adding they remain focused on "delivering success on the pitch".
