The Republic of Ireland will face Bulgaria in the Nations League playoffs next March.
Heimir Hallgrimsson's team will be at home for the second leg of the tie as they look to avoid relegation to the third tier of the competition.
Bulgaria were second to Northern Ireland in their group in League C and drew twice with Ireland in the 2021 edition of the Nations League.
