The women's Euros will be missing its star player after Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas suffered a serious knee injury in training.
The Spain midfielder ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament on the eve of the tournament.
Putellas was the top scorer in the Champions League last season.
