Provincial titles for Offaly and Cork

Offaly are celebrating their first Leinster under-20 Football title since 1995.

Jack Bryant scored six-points as they beat three-in-a-row chasing Dublin by 15-points to 3-3 at O'Moore Park last night.

It ends a run of 15 successive provincial final losses in all grades for the Faithful County and manager Declan Kelly told Midlands 103 that his team were determined to win

Cork secured their 28th Munster U-20 football crown with a 10-point win over their neighbours Tipperary.

David Buckley's 10-points helped the Rebels to record a 3-20 to 3-10 victory at Semple Stadium.

Roscommon take on Mayo in a Connacht Minor Football Championship quarter-final tonight.

Meath and Tipperary meet in a crucial Group Two clash in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship tonight.

4400 supporters will be permitted to attend Saturday's All Ireland hurling qualifier between Galway and Waterford at Semple Stadium.

3500 will be in attendance at the game between Cork and Clare at the LIT Gaelic Grounds.

The increased capacities were given the go-ahead by Sports Minister Jack Chambers.

However, the Munster football final in Fitzgerald Stadium between Kerry and Cork will not have its capacity increased from 2500.
