Limerick have their first win in this year's Munster Hurling Championship.

Aidan O'Connor scored 1-8 and Diarmuid Byrnes also hit the net as the League champions beat their rivals Clare by 2-30 to 1-18 in Ennis.

Tony Kelly scored Clare's goal from a second-half penalty, while Limerick midfielder Adam English was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.

Westmeath will face Dublin in the Leinster Football final.

Brandon Kelly extra-time goal helped the Lake County to overcome Kildare by 2-21 to 23-points in Tullamore.

It'll be Westmeath's first Leinster final in a decade, and they're also through to the All-Ireland Football Championship.

Down will play in the Tailteann Cup after their 3-33 to 14-points loss to Armagh in the Ulster Football semis.

Conor Turbitt scored two goals for the 2024 All-Ireland champions, who will take on Monaghan in the final.
