Provincial Championships review

Waterford and Tipperary have drawn in a thriller in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.

Kevin Mahony hit the net deep in injury-time to earn a point for the Deise - as it ended Waterford 3-24 Tipperary 1-20 at Walsh Park.

All-Ireland champions Tipp had led by 11-points at half-time and both teams have one point from their opening two fixtures.

Earlier, Cork made it two wins from two.

Alan Connolly and Shane Barrett hit the net for the Rebels as they edged out Limerick by 2-22 to 1-23 at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Limerick captain Cian Lynch was shown a straight red card in the second half and will miss their trip to Clare next week.

Galway have continued their 100 percent start in the Leinster Hurling Championship.

Late goals from Conor Cooney and Rory Burke sealed a 2-26 to 1-18 victory over Offaly in Salthill.

Fergal Whitely scored two goals at Parnell Park to help Dublin to win by 3-24 to 1-19 against Kildare.
