Chris Froome has undergone "successful" surgery after a serious training crash in France.
The four-time Tour de France champion was airlifted to hospital on Wednesday with a collapsed lung, five broken ribs and a fractured vertebra.
Froome's team say he's in "good spirits" and the procedures on his injuries went "as planned".
