Plans for a new 12-aside rugby tournament have been revealed, with New Zealand's World Cup-winning coach Steve Hansen among its ambassadors.
The proposals state an ambition to attract 192 players to play for eight franchise teams in a tournament provisionally scheduled for August and September next year.
Organisers say approval has yet to be received from World Rugby.
