Nelson Piquet has apologised "wholeheartedly" for using a racist word while talking about Lewis Hamilton.
The three-time F1 world champion says it's a colonial term used in Brazilian Portuguese, and insists he had no intention to cause offence.
He believes the translation being reported in English is "not correct".

Hamilton called its usage "archaic".
