It's understood Vitor Pereira has agreed a contract to take over as Nottingham Forest boss - and will sign on until the end of the season.
The former Wolves head coach will replace Sean Dyche as the club's fourth permanent manager of the campaign.
He was sacked this week with Forest just three points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
