Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has apologised to Steven Gerrard after referencing his infamous slip against Chelsea.
He mentioned the former Liverpool captain's error, which happened during the 2014 title race that City went on to win, while defending the club against financial allegations last week.
Guardiola says he's "ashamed" to have brought Gerrard into the debate.
