Páidí O'Sé to be honoured by Munster GAA

The Munster Senior Football Championship trophy is to be named in honour of Kerry legend Páidí Ó Sé.

The decision was approved at a meeting of Comhairle na Mumhan last night.

The Páidi Ó Sé Cup will be presented to the winners of the 2026 Munster Senior Football Final.

Ó Sé won 11 Munster titles as a player and guided Kerry to a further six as manager.

The 2026 Munster SFC begins on April 12, with Kerry entering at the semi-final stage against Clare on April 25.
