Organisers of the Australian Grand Prix say the season-opening Formula One race will go ahead as planned despite travel disruption caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
A number of drivers and team personnel based in Europe have had to reroute their journeys after flights through Qatar and the UAE were affected.
But Australian Grand Prix chief Travis Auld insists there will be no impact on the event, saying all teams are expected to arrive in time and be ready to race.
