O'Connor Extends His Stay In Ireland For Final

Dingle’s Mark O’Connor has been cleared to play in the All-Ireland club football final against St Brigid's.

Aussie rules side Geelong cats have given an extended Christmas break to O'Connor in order to play in Croke Park on the 18^th of January.

It’s now 10 years since O'Connor signed for Geelong and subsequently became one of only three Irish-born players to win an AFL title. He will return to Australia after the final to begin pre-season training with the Victoria based club.
