Kate O'Connor has stormed back into the medal positions during the heptathlon event at the World Athletics Championships.
The Dundalk athlete is currently second in the standings after recording another personal best during the javelin section of the event.
Her throw of 53.06 boosted her points total to 5743, with an 81 point cushion to third place.

She will round off her campaign with the 800-metres just after 10-past-1.
