Newcastle have had a 40-million-pound bid for James Maddison rejected by Leicester.
It's understood the midfielder's valued at closer to 60-million, and it's not known yet whether their Premier League rivals will improve their offer.
Maddison has been consistently linked to a move away - but he is also one of Leicester's key players.
