A new 'Sprint Shootout' will be introduced in Formula One from this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Fridays will now be made up of one practice session and qualifying for the five affected rounds, with the Saturday shootout determining the line-up for the sprint later that day.
The sprint format had been used to set the grid for the Grand Prix since it was introduced in 2021.
