New Photo Finish Technology To Be Rolled Out Across Irish Tracks

Horse Racing Ireland has announced a full upgrade of photo finish technology.

Twelve new high-spec cameras, capturing 40,000 frames per second in 4K ultra-HD, will be rolled out starting at next week’s Punchestown Festival.

HRI says the changes will boost accuracy and reliability at all 26 Irish racecourses.
