New international rugby competition from 2026

Major rugby organisations are working to create a new international competition which would take place every two years from 2026.

It'll involve all the Six Nations sides - including Ireland - and teams from the southern hemisphere, like New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.

The tournament will take place in July and November, which are already international windows.
