League and All Ireland Champions Kerry will face Cork in the opening round of the Munster LFGA Championship on Saturday April 26th.
The Kingdom will be away at 2pm.
Munster LGFA were delighted to welcome the 6 Counties to the recent launch of the Munster Senior and Senior B Championships, held in Mallow GAA Complex on Tuesday April 15th.
This year's competitions will again be run on a round robin format with each team facing off against each other to earn the right to contest the Munster Final. Games will take place over three consecutive weekends with a two-week break before the finals.
Speaking at the launch Munster LGFA President Robbie Smyth said he was really looking forward to the Championship which “is looking like it’s going to be one of our best Championships in a long long time” with four top quality teams taking part.
Both Munster Ladies Senior Football Championships commence on Saturday, April 26th with finals taking place in Mallow GAA Complex on May 25th.
