Munster confirm Edogbo extenstion

Munster have confirmed that Edwin Edogbo has penned a new deal at the province.

The lock has spent almost four years with the senior team, after making his debut in September 2022.

The extension will see him remain in red until at least 2027.

Trevor Woodman has been appointed as Connacht's new scrum coach.

The former England prop is set to take over the role from next season, having spent 12 years at Gloucester.

He also spent 9 years as a player with Gloucester, and was part of the England squad that won the 2003 World Cup.

Caelan Doris, Josh Van Der Flier and Andrew Porter are all set to be assessed for Leinster ahead of their URC clash with Benetton this weekend.

The forward trio missed the province's win over Ulster on Friday.

James Lowe has also returned to training, however a decision will not be made on any of the players until later this week.
