Mullins Handed Ban After Grand National

Jockey Patrick Mullins has been handed an eight-day ban following his victory at the Aintree Grand National.

The 35-year-old was on board Nick Rockett, as the 33-to-1 shot held off the challenge of I Am Maximus in the famous race last Saturday.

But the Whip Review Committee found that Mullins had used his whip eight times on the home stretch, one above the permitted amount.
