Manchester City will go to Anfield on Sunday with a seven point advantage over Liverpool in the Premier League.

Leaders City extended their unbeaten run to nineteen games last night with a 2-nil win away to Burnley.

Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling were on the mark at Turf Moor.

City have now won 13 games on the bounce in all competitions, and their manager Pep Guardiola wants to maintain that momentum for the club's upcoming schedule.

Liverpool suffered back-to-back home defeats in the Premier League for the first time since 2012, going down 1-nil to Brighton.

Steven Alzate scored the winner in the second half at Anfield.

New Kerry Captain Paul Murphy has blasted rumours of a mutiny in the Kerry camp as “an act of pure fiction” but also an unfortunate part of today’s social media world.

He was speaking to the media last evening and emphasised the Kingdom are seeking to “right the wrongs” of last year’s shock Championship exit to Cork.

But he conceded there was nothing the players could do about the subsequent rumblings of an alleged revolt against manager Peter Keane, which surfaced in late November, other than to refute them completely and move on.
